At the heart of the Immediacy Web Content
Management Suite is the Immediacy CMS, more specifically described
as a Web Content Management System. Now at version 6.2, this system
is acknowledged by industry observers and analysts as one of the
UK’s leaders. It has wide UK adoption across both private and
public sectors and an active and vibrant user community.

Web Asset Manager (WAM)
Originally developed and described as a Document Management
System, the Immediacy Web Asset Manager is now at version 2.1 and
has been evolved to provide much greater repository support to the
Immediacy CMS.
New features include...
- Integration with the CMS Media plug-in to enable management of
rich media assets
- Combined CMS/WAM search plug-in
- Performance boost
- Integration with the Immediacy Taxonomy and Categorisation
Manager (TCM)
Taxonomy and Categorisation Manager (TCM)
Immediacy TCM is a new development that is integrated with the
CMS and WAM to provide auto-categorisation of content in
conjunction with a managed taxonomy.
SharePoint Connector (SPC)
Immediacy SPC is a new development designed to connect
information residing in a SharePoint environment to Immediacy
driven websites in intranet, extranet or public site scenario.
Deployment Server (DS)
Immediacy Deployment Server is now at version 4.2 and provides
the capability to upload content to multiple servers.
New features include...
- New transmission mechanism. Default HTTP on port 80. Encrypted
by default
- Improved logical analysis of documents to upload based on a log
file that records changes
- Selected live document upload from WAM
- Selected live list upload from SharePoint as XML
- Selected live file upload from ICE as XML
- Bi-directional support for live site to staging
- Improved log manager
- Roll-back to previous version
